Join WVHA at the Windsor Welcome Center for a talk by historian Tyler Alexander, ahead of WVHA's walking tour of the Civil War veterans buried at Ascutney Cemetery. Tyler will explore the shared sacrifices of Vermonters through the stories of the 4th and 6th VT Regiments and his book, If I Can Get Home This Fall:A Story of Love, Loss, and a Cause in the Civil War.

Tyler Alexander is an educator in Vermont who teaches American history and government. He is a former James Madison Fellow who studied forestry, history, and education at the University of Maine and the University of Vermont.
